Sustainability

One of our key school priorities is to  educate and inspire our pupils, to embrace a sustainable lifestyle and mindset and to take action to make the changes they feel are needed to improve the world around them.

Working with different partners such as Green School and Greener Green, we have developed our own organisational structure ‘Building the Future We Want’ which aims to help children, teachers, parents and all key school stakeholders in the local community to come together to be more sustainable.

Our actions and projects are active across the community, some big, some small but all making a difference.

Green Week - 23rd March 2026

Green Week is an exciting initiative proposed by Membro Eco of our Pupils’ Committee to promote sustainability in our school. It will take place on the 23rd – 27th of March, and involve an ambitious range of events across our campus, culminating on Friday with a spectacular ‘Re:Earth’ Fashion Show.

Our Green Week logo and our mascot, Matcha, a south Chinese tiger, were designed in a collaboration between Membro Eco and our Art students. The south Chinese tiger is a species highly endangered due to climate change, and Matcha hopes to inspire us all to protect our planet and work collectively for positive environmental action.
