Collaboration between primary and secondary students creates valuable opportunities for student mentorship and builds a strong sense of community spirit. One excellent example from the 2025 ‘ 2026 school year is a joint biodiversity project undertaken by P4 and S4 Francophone students under the guidance of professors Marc Perrin and Vincent Lestra.
In the first semester, the classes met in the school’s shared gardens to plant bulbs together. In the new year, they gathered again in the secondary biology labs to observe soil samples using binocular magnifying glasses and microscopes. Other planned activities include observing the flowering of the bulbs and pollination.
This kind of practical, collaborative mentoring and learning promotes a deeper understanding of and lasting engagement with sustainability principles.
