We have been extremely fortunate to have Fondazione CREDA ETS in situ delivering a series of workshops to students in primary years 3-5, and secondary years 1-3 during Green Week, giving every class an opportunity to attend a workshop. This was a huge and generous endeavour for this superb educational organisation and we are so grateful to the workshop leaders.
Each hands-on, interactive workshop dealt with a different sustainability topic and was adapted to the age group. Our primary students attended workshops on composting, plastic and its derivitives, and the second life of electronic devices. While in the secondary, workshop themes were ‘I love water’ 💧 and ‘Material in Circulation’ (the circular economy and recycling). ♻️
Students and teachers alike were impressed by how these workshops were run, with a focus on group work and interaction. A huge thank you to Silvio Cova, Letizia Lusetti, Matteo Pessina, and Anna Marchesi for this fantastic learning experience. 💚
