Golf and Orienteering Project

In May and June, in the scenic setting of Luvinate Golf Club, the final phase of the multidisciplinary golf and orienteering project promoted by the Physical Education and Human Sciences departments took place. ⛳

The project, involving all S1 students across language sections, has been well-received by students and teachers alike. This is an excellent example of cross-curricular planning, grounded in a holistic approach that encourages stewardship of our natural environment while we enjoy it. 🌱

The initiative aims to promote outdoor physical activity through golf and orienteering, connecting these sports disciplines to key concepts in the Human Sciences curriculum, such as spatial awareness and interaction with the environment, providing students with a comprehensive and dynamic educational experience. It’s also a lot of fun!
