Some P4 and P5 Classes are working on a long-term project to analyse biodiversity and how it is affected by human impact.
They have prepared 3 areas of ground – one left alone, one planted with grass and one with insect friendly shrubs. They will investigate and measure how the insects are affected by their landscape.
P1 IT love nature and take care of it and they always look after the Strawberry Garen. They collected aromatic herbs to dry and removed weeds, but we left a layer of leaf mulch around the plants to protect them from the cold.
P1 and P5 planted a Ginkgo biloba tree in the school garden to celebrate the Day of the Tree.
